Bisquare’s “Buddy Player”  won  a National award in 2010 from the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, under the category ‘product innovation for the physically challenged’.

Buddy player is an Assitive Media Player designed to address the infotainment (educational and entertainment) needs of a user. The device has been made “Disabled Friendly” by  integrated it with a DAISY Book Reader which can read digital books (conforming to the DAISY standard) in audio format. It is the cheapest  Digital Talking Book reader available in the market  for the visually impaired, learning disabled or print-disabled readers.
